Vaccination Requirements for Puppies

Puppies must be at least 12 weeks of age and have completed their first two series of DHPP vaccinations, including the Bordetella vaccine and a fecal exam. Puppies over 18 weeks of age must have completed their DHPP and Bordetella vaccination series. All puppies must have their Rabies vaccinations no later than 26 weeks of age. We offer special puppy programs.

Vaccination Requirements for Kittens

Kittens must be over 18 weeks of age and have completed their full series of FVRCP vaccinations. Kittens must have their Rabies vaccinations no later than 26 weeks of age.

Vaccination Requirements for Dogs

  • Rabies: Current by 26 weeks for puppies; in the last 3 years for adults.
  • Bordetella*: Highly recommended within 6 months, but current in the last 12 months.
  • DHPP: Current by 18 weeks for puppies; last 3 years for adults.
  • Lepto: Highly recommended within 1 year, but not required.
  • CIV: Highly recommended, but not required.
  • Fecal: Current in the last year.
  • Titers: Valid for 14 days with proper veterinary documentation.
  • Flea/Tick: Must be flea/tick free at admittance. Recommended to be current.
  • Day Camp: 12 weeks old; 1st 2 series of vaccinations; Spayed/neutered over 6 months.
* – Dogs whose Bordetella vaccines were last given more than 12 months ago are required to have the intranasal vaccine (at least 72 hours) or the injectable vaccine (at least 7 days) prior to the date of service or check-in.

Vaccination Requirements for Cats

  • Rabies: Current by 26 weeks for kittens; last 3 years for adults.
  • FVRCP: Current by 18 weeks for kittens; last 3 years for adults.
  • Feline Leukemia: Strongly recommended, but not required, to be current in the last year.
